On Sunday, the Seahawks wide receiver competed against some of the country's best sprinters.

DK Metcalf, a wide receiver for the Seattle Seahawks, is known for his rare combination of height, power, and pace. On Sunday, the 6'4" 235-pounder put his pace to the test in a 100-meter dash against track stars at the USA Track and Field Golden Games. Metcalf eventually finished ninth in his heat with a time of 10.36 seconds. A time of under 10.05 seconds in the 100-meter dash would have qualified Metcalf for the Olympic Trials next month.

"To be able to test my speed against world-class athletes like this...just getting the chance to race against these guys was a blessing," Metcalf said.
