Taking time to remember Robin Williams on what would have been his 70th birthday today

In August, it will be seven years since the death of Robin Williams, who rocked the entire world, took his life.

After a long battle with Lewy body dementia, the legendary comedian and actor committed suicide in 2014.

Williams would have celebrated his 70th birthday on Wednesday.

Williams was memorialized on Twitter with postings of photos from some of his roles, video clips, and statements ascribed to him that were trending.

In a tweet, SiriusXM host Eric Alper wished Robin Williams a happy birthday, saying, "He's always understood the job."

In recent weeks, fans have been buzzing about the news that Disney+ will begin streaming one of Williams' most iconic roles, "Mrs. Doubtfire," starting on Wednesday.
